Su Xing came out of the restaurant, took out his mobile phone and clicked on the circle of friends.
The post she posted before dinner already had quite a few likes and comments.
However, there was no news about He Xu.
Su Xing even found it funny that little bit of expectation in his heart.
If He Xu could use a mobile phone, he would have called or texted her a long time ago. Why would he have to wait until he saw her circle of friends before contacting her?
In fact, the Jinyang Satellite Launch Center is not located in Jinyang City.
Instead, it is located in the plateau area of Yuanshentangping Township, Kelan County, Xinzhou City, Jin Province, which is about 200 kilometers away from Jinyang City.
Su Xing looked up at the sky and felt that even though he and He Xu were quite far apart, they were in the same province and had a wonderful feeling of being under the same sky, walking on the same land, and experiencing the same customs and folkways.
She didn't take the car, but strolled back to the hotel.
Su Xing has not yet told the person who contacted her from the Cultural and Creative Development Department of the Provincial Museum that she has already arrived in Jinyang.
So she logged into QQ and left a message for the other party.
It's time to get off work and the other party is not online.
But it doesn’t matter if the other party doesn’t see her message in time. She will go to the Shanxi Provincial Museum by herself tomorrow.
Su Xing turned on the computer, took out the drawing tablet, and continued to draw the list of Yichun cultural tourism.
The drawing has entered the final stage.
She worked until after two in the morning and finally finished the painting.
She checked and polished it again, then packed up the finished drawings and sent them to Chief Nie's email address.
She left a message to the other party, asking him to communicate with her if he had any ideas after looking at the draft.
Su Xing washed up, went to bed and slept soundly for more than two hours.
After getting up energetically, she did horse stance and practiced basic skills as usual.
For breakfast, Su Xing did not eat the hotel buffet, but went out to several snack bars.
Old tofu with hemp leaves, mutton soup with sesame cakes, steamed dumplings, and tofu...
This was also the first time she tried breakfast from Shanxi Province. After tasting it, she finally understood why this traditional Jinyang snack had not spread to other places. It might be more suitable for the taste of local people.
After breakfast, Su Xing carried a small backpack and took his camera to the Shanxi Provincial Museum.
When they arrived, Su Xing looked up at this distinctive building and examined it carefully for a long time.
It adopts my country's traditional axial symmetrical composition technique, with the east-west axis as the main axis and the north-south axis as the secondary axis. The four-story main building is located at the intersection of the main and secondary axes, forming a symmetrical pattern.
The overall appearance is like a bowl or a tripod. At the same time, the square and regular shape, wide at the top and narrow at the bottom, with the eaves slanting outward layer by layer, also resembles a roc spreading its wings or a golden pheasant flying, showing a vigorous and upward momentum.
Su Xing raised his camera and took a picture of the museum's architectural exterior.
Now, major museums are not as popular as they will be in a few years, and you have to make reservations in advance to go anywhere.
Su Xing scanned his ID card, passed security check, and soon arrived at the museum.
She stood in the middle of the museum again and looked up to observe its internal structure.
The interior of the main hall is octagonal in shape, and is designed after the external outline and internal structure of the Yingxian Wooden Pagoda, implying "a pagoda hidden in the tripod, and treasure hidden in the pagoda."
Su Xing raised the camera again and took several photos of the interior structure of the building from various angles.
Then she walked to the service desk.
A staff member saw her coming and asked her with a smile: "Hello, how can I help you?"
"Hello." Su Xing said, "I would like to ask for a tour guide."
The staff immediately called a free tour guide to serve Su Xing.
This is a young lady in her twenties.
She smiled and said, "My last name is Ni, and I'm happy to serve you."
Su Xing also smiled at the other party and said, "Sister Ni, thank you for your help."
Xiao Ni took Su Xing and walked towards the exhibition hall.
The basic display of Shanxi Provincial Museum is based on the theme of "Soul of Shanxi". Xiao Ni took Su Xing to the second floor and started from the "Cradle of Civilization" exhibition hall.
Her voice is gentle and emotional, and there is a little humor in her explanation, which makes it easier for guests to listen to her instead of being dry.
There were a few tourists nearby who were listening in, all of them were listening with great interest.
Su Xing and Xiao Ni didn't care about other people eavesdropping.
The Shanxi Provincial Museum has a very rich collection, with about 40 precious items, including more than national first-class cultural relics.
It covers cultural relics from the Taosi site in the New Era, cultural relics from the Shang Dynasty, cultural relics from the Western Zhou Dynasty, cultural relics from the Northern Dynasties, local ceramics from Shanxi Province, cultural relics from Jin and Yuan Dynasty operas, and cultural relics from Shanxi merchants in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
Two or three hours of manual explanation can't actually reveal much about the cultural relics.
Xiao Ni can only talk about some key cultural relics.
For example, the "Jin Hou Bird Zun" is the treasure of the Shanxi Provincial Museum.
When Xiao Ni explained the bird statue, his explanation was detailed and vivid.
"The Jinhou Bird Zun is a superstar of our Jin Provincial Museum. It is a treasure from the early middle period of the Western Zhou Dynasty. It was discovered in Tomb 1992 of the Jinhou Cemetery in Beizhao Village, Quwo County, Jin Province between 2000 and 114.
Let’s take a look at its appearance first. It is 39 cm high, 30.5 cm long and 17.5 cm wide. It looks like a proud phoenix looking back, with its head slightly raised and its tall crown standing upright. It looks very stylish.
What’s more, there is a cute little bird on its back, which is the handle of the lid of the bird statue. Look at the phoenix tail, there is actually an elephant head with its trunk curled inward and upward, forming a stable three-point support together with the legs of the phoenix. Isn’t the design amazing?
This Jinhou Bird Zun is not a simple one. It is a ritual vessel for ancestral temples. There are inscriptions on the inside of the lid and the bottom of the belly that read "Jinhou made this precious zun for Taishi", indicating that it was a sacrificial vessel for the first generation of Jinhou Xiefu.
In terms of cultural value, the Zhou people believed that the birth of their ancestor was related to birds, and the phoenix was a symbol of good luck. Therefore, the Jinhou Bird Zun embodied their totem worship of the phoenix, and also witnessed the historical changes of the Jin State. It is an important representative of Jin culture.
It also has considerable archaeological value. The shape of the bird-shaped vessel is very special, and the combination of bird and elephant decoration is a rare treasure in bronze art. It is of great significance to the study of the shape and craftsmanship of bronze ware in the Shang and Zhou dynasties.
Its historical value is even greater. It is an important material evidence of the founding of the State of Jin. The character "Jin" in the inscription is the earliest bronze character "Jin", which witnesses the history of Xiefu changing Tang to Jin.
Last year, the Jinhou Bird Zun was selected into the third batch of national cultural relics prohibited from being exhibited abroad, which further consolidated its status as the treasure of our museum.
By the way, the emblem of our Shanxi Provincial Museum is also a bird statue."
Su Xing actually knew some information about the Jinhou Bird Zun. Back then, the Jinhou Bird Zun was jointly excavated by the Peking University School of Archaeology and Museology and the Jin Provincial Institute of Archaeology.
When the Jinhou Bird Zun was unearthed, it was already in pieces, broken into more than a hundred fragments. Initially, archaeologists from the University of Tokyo cut the broken "parts" together with the tomb soil from the tomb chamber, packed them and transported them back to the laboratory of the University of Tokyo for restoration. After a year and a half of repeated splicing, repairs, and rust removal, it was finally restored, but the bird's tail was still incomplete.
It wasn't until 2018 that the last fragments were found and completely restored.
The Jinhou Bird Zun that she saw now was still missing its tail.
